LIFETEEN (High School Religious Education + Confirmation Prep)Calendar
Who: 9-12 grade • When: Sundays, 12:15-2 PM • Where: SLTK, Mary’s Room
Join us for our faith formation program for all high school teens and those seeking confirmation. There will be food, fellowship, and a dynamic way to start your week in Christ. Take a break from the usual and be a part of our Scripture Study and Social Outings weekly! *may include: hikes, community service, study sessions, recreation nights, field trips, random acts of kindness, family friendly outings, etc.
SMALL GROUP DISCIPLESHIP (Parent-Focused Youth Outreach)
Who: 9-12 grade • When: TBA by mentor • Where: Host Family Home
High school teens are invited and welcomed into a small group amidst the week’s activities, mentored by one of our volunteers and hosted by one of our families.
MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL NET RETREAT
Who: 5-12th grade • When: April 5th & 6th • Where: SLTK
Middle School (5th-8th grade) Retreat is Friday, April 5th, from 5 until 9 PM. High School (9th-12th grade) Retreat is Saturday, April 6th, from 10:30 AM until 4 PM! All Youth in these grades welcome! This is a CITY-WIDE event + the parishes from Gwinn and Munising are joining us – spread the word. Email Dustin to RSVP/register: firstname.lastname@example.org
HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH CONFERENCE 2019
Who: entering 9th-Graduates • When: July 26-28 • Where: University of St. Thomas
All teens entering 9-12 grade and upcoming Graduates are welcome! We will be attending the Steubenville North Youth Conference in the Twin Cities. Deadline to sign-up has past, but there is a waiting list.

More about Dustin and his family…
Dustin Katona and Lanni Lantto, both born and raised in Marquette County, have been called to help form intentional communities of prayer, hospitality and active stewardship for God’s creation. With over a decade of experience serving as a parish youth minister, Dustin has led mission trips, wilderness ventures, spiritual directed retreats, and given numerous talks on being Disciples of Christ. Dustin is also an independent filmmaker and public speaker under the alias “B. Watchman” and holds a B.A. in Religious Studies, and M.A. in Divinity / Catholic Studies. Lanni, has traveled the world empowering women through the arts. She has spoken publicly on the importance of non-consumption and how to creatively re-use what we already own. Lanni earned a B.A. in Women’s Studies, holds a LLM in International Law, and taught Women’s Studies at Ithaca and Wells College respectfully. The family comes to us from the Adirondack Mountains of New York where they directed a retreat house and began to raise their son, Satori Rising.
